CLOMID SUCCESS + + +
2/28/10
Hello,
I haven't had much time to get my story out, but this seems like the place to do it. I tried to get pregnant for 2 years, with no luck. I took clomid once, the Dr. called it the Clomid "challenge" and gave me 100 mg and took my blood before, during and after the cycle. I got pregnant the first month I took it, and found out I was pregnant with triplets, 7 weeks into the pregnancy. My girls are now 9 months old and were born at 35 weeks, and very healthy, praise GOD!! The percentages show that .5% of people who take clomid end up with triplets... apparently, I am one of those people!!! I hope this helps someone when making their decisions.
Thanks,
Kami

I never thought that I would be posting on this site. I have been reading clomid success stories for the past several months while TTC. I was inspired and hopeful because of the stories I read on this site. That is why I would like to share my success story.
I got pregnant on my very first cycle of Clomid 50 mg tabs!! I had only been TTC for about 6 months. My doctor concluded that I was not ovulating based on my lab tests and diagnosed me with PCOS. I do not fit the typical picture of someone with PCOS, but I have always had irregular periods. My periods were always light and infrequent, usually 3 per year. Before I used clomid we tried on our own using OPK tests. I had a few positives, but never got pregnant. My doctor gave me clomid, but I was extremely hesitant to take it. I didn't fill the prescription for several weeks. Then after several more BFNs I decided to give it a try. I took clomid 50 mg on days 4-8 of my cycle. I had a transvaginal ultrasound on cycle day 13. The doctor told me I had a large follicle. However I didn't get a positive OPK until cycle day 19. We were having sex every day and sometimes twice a day. Three days after I ovulated we had sex and immediately after I had intense abdominal pain. I was in Mexico on vacation, so I didn't go to t
he doctor. It lasted about 3-4 days then gradually went away. I think I must have had an ovarian cyst that ruptured during sex. I had read that clomid can cause you to develop multiple cysts. I was frustrated, and I was convinced that I couldn't be pregnant because of the cyst. I was nervous about taking clomid again. I took multiple pregnancy tests starting 8 DPO, all negative. Until 12 DPO, I saw a faint line!! Since then I have taken 8 tests, all positive. I still can't believe it is really true. Clomid definitely worked for me on the first try. I am due in November 2010. Now I just have to wait for my first ultrasound to see if I am having one or two babies!
MY CLOMID EXPERIENCE:
Hello,
Just thought I would drop a line to share my story. I am 26 and my husband is 29. We tried for 18 months to have a baby with no luck. My doctor put me on the lowest level of Clomid and I got pregnant in month two. I had no bad reactions, my mood didn't change at all; I felt great! Now my baby is 10 months, doing perfectly, and we're going to try for another soon! Good luck to all you ladies out there!
Hi - My name is Liz. My husband and I are 32 and TTC since July. I will be starting my third cycle on chlomid. Each moth the dosage has been increased. I have had trouble sleeping, weight gain and hot flashes from the chlomid. I went for an HCG test today. We will see what happens. If I am not pregnant my next dose of chlomid will be 150.My doctor says 100-150 is avg and 250 is in extreme cases. Baby dust to all!
Hello
My name is Melissa and I am the prehistoric age of 41. Bam.
My hubby and I became prego at 39 (after years of trying in a previous marriage) with no fertility drugs just plain old got lucky.
Now, my beautiful little girl is two and we have been trying for a year and obviously time is of the essence. My dr ordered blood work for me and told me my prog level was low 2.1 and that if I really want another baby to start clomid asap. I started 50 mg of clomid for days 3-7 and immediately got hot flashes. I finished the last pill two days ago and have a constant headache-just won't stop. It will be well worth it if I get another little miracle out of this. Is there anyone else out there who is crazy enough to try this at 41 with a level of 2.1? I would love to hear any success stories or experiences from other seasoned gals. lol
