    Hi

Just wanted to let you know that
my friends at work and home and myself
    decided to do an experiment.
We gathered the names of everyone we know
who have had children since 1956 and tested the calender.

Out of 103 people tested 96 of them were right...

I don't know why others have not had the
correct result, but I personally believe in it!

So far it has been the most reliable way of
finding out besides ultrasound I have seen..

    Thanks for posting it!

The CC was wrong with my first one
    and right with my 2nd.
    So I'd say it's 50/50!

Your calendar was wrong on 2 of my 3 children.
Even if I had fudged and had gotten the months wrong,
one month either way was wrong.

With my last child it was right.
Just thought I'd let you know.

Hi my name is Memory and i just stumbled upon this calendar
and I conceived the month of January when
I was 21 years old and i did have
    a boy in November.

    So according to the calender
that is the sex I should have had.

Just thought I would let you know that it is right.

How many others do you know of

that say this is right for them as well?

    I have two children,
    a boy 4 and a girl 2
the chart said exactly the opposite
of what I had on both children.

    How accurate have the results
on the email that you have received been?
    Please let me know,
    I'm currently trying to conceive # 3.

    Thank you,

    Samantha

    Hi,
there was a phone number a few years ago
to also call and give the same info,
and it said I was having a boy and I did.
So i looked on your chart to see
if it was the same and it was.

    I'm now 15 weeks pregnant
    and it says girl!!!!
I'll let you know in February!!!

    HI!
Your calendar was correct with me
    I conceived around Jan. 4-5, 1998
    and I was 28.
I gave birth a week late October 5th
    to an 8lb 7oz beautiful
    (in my opinion) boy.

For me your calendar was incorrect,
I was not trying for a specific sex
and I had a boy you show I should have
had a girl we are very happy with a boy,
however for our next child we would
like a daughter so have been looking at various
    options the most highly recommended
    is timing of conception
(prior to ovulation for a girl)
    so fingers crosses this time.

    Wow!
The Chinese Calendar was right about my son!
    I was shocked!
I have what they call secondary infertility
and it looks like I will be having a boy
if by the grace of God I get pregnant
    in the next 3 months!

    I have a question about
    how to determine the month
    since in most cases
    January in Chinese lunar calendar
is February in the standard calendar
    that we use.
I wonder if the month in the chart is
    Chinese month or has been
    converted to standard month.

I was 30 when I conceived in April and had a son.

Momma... that is a pretty interesting chart!
I am anxious to see if it works out for me!!!

By the way... you may want to add that you need to
add a year to your age to use this chart,
    because your Chinese age begins
with 1 the day you are born...

So, instead of looking at 26...
I need to look at 27,
    because on December 11, 1972
    - the day I was born -
I was (according to the Chinese)
    "in my first year"
so they would call me 1.

Unless it has already been converted (?)

    Very neat!
    What have the responses been?
Are we getting some confirming results??
    LOL!!!

    Take care!

I had my U/S on Friday and it's definitely a boy!
    I conceived at 27 on April 6,
    so the chart is correct!

    Dear Momma Kath

I have an query about the Chinese calendar,
as I have been told that the Chinese year
is not structured the same as the western
    calendar year, but believe
this may alter the age of the mother
    up to 2 years older,
for example - even if your 29th birthday was in Nov.1999
    you have been effectively
    in your 29th year since Jan/Feb 1999
and change into your 30th or even 31st year
in Jan/Feb 2000 for more info visit
site www.chinagold.com it gives a conversion calendar
to check if your have had or going to have the child
    of your choice.

    Hope this helps
    Tracey

    Subject: Not Correct
Hi!, My name is Mariana Garcia, from Mexico City and
I'd like to tell you that in my case the Chinese
Calendar was wrong. I was 25 in may 1995, when I
concieved my first child, supposedly he was a she,
and on the second case I was 28 in october 1997 when
I concieved my second child and she was supposed to
be a he. And I really hope it's correct this time
(I'm trying to get pregnant, actually it's the first
month and I'm waiting to see if I get my period
during next week) hopefully, it'll be correct since
    it'll be a girl.

I have seen another site that says you are supposed to
put in how old you are when you give birth to the baby
(or how old you will be). That chart is more accurate than
for people in my family. Good luck!
