Hope this gives people hope out there.
Reading everyone's success stories
certainly gave me hope.

My husband and I both are 32 years old.
I was diagnosed with poly cystic oravian syndrome
after my husband and I ttc for a year. I went on 50mg
of Clomid and conceived first time!
I am 23 weeks pregnant with twins!!
I always thought it would take us years
but was fortunately wrong.

I did suffer from most of the symptoms including nausea
and vomitting for the first 3 months.
Still get tired but feel much better
now and nausea seems to have pretty much gone.
Good luck to everyone out there!

Well it finally happened!!!!!
After 7 months of trying we finally got a
positive. EDD is Nov. 9, 2000.
I was supposed to have AF arrive last
week but did not test because I didn't
want to be disappointed. So I figured that
no test was better than a big no!!!!!!!!
Then at least I could hope.
Well Monday I could wait no more,
I went to Wal-mart and bought a Confirm,
so I would have a keepsake if it was +.
I couldn't believe it, I was in shock.
I paged my DH who was at work, did not call
me right away. In the mean time my OB called,
I had left a message a few weeks ago for her
opinion of my DH's SA. When she called I told
her I knew it was ok, I had a + test.
She was so excited!!!! I was shocked at her reaction.
So I plan to go in on the 23rd for an u/s.
Then one thing I did differently was pray,
faithfully every night and promised to
raise my child in a Christian way.
I know God was listening, I told Dh
this month was a bust, things didn't
happen on the right days.
Guess I was wrong.
Keep positive thoughts.

+++ HPT with Confirm

Hi all. I tested +++ this morning with Confirm at 14 dpo!
I am going to the lab after work today to do another
urine test to confirm. The line was faint at first, after
about 2 minutes (I thought it was a shadow from the
plastic case) By five minutes there was a definite line.
It's about 1/2 as dark as the control line, but
definitely visible without squinting :-) I am excited
but now the anxiety has set in about keeping it healthy
and viable to full term. Here are some
details for those who want to read on:

BTW, I had very few symptoms. No spotting,
no frequent urination, no hunger, nothing too weird. My only
possible symptoms were a very small area on the left side of
my left breast has been sore since about 6
dpo, and the last two mornings when I woke
up I felt a weird kind of pressure down about where my uterus
is. I've also been waking up around 3-4am every morning
for about 9 days, but am not tired at all during the
day or evening, but this could be coincidence.
I wouldn't have thought twice about these things if I wasn't
being hypervigilant this month!

Temps:
cd1-9 bounced around between 97.3 & 97.8 as usual for me
cd10 97.3
cd11 98.3 (?)
cd12 97.3
cd13 97.8
cd14 97.8
cd15 97.8 (O?)
cd16 97.9
cd17-23 steady at 98.2 as usual for me post-O
cd24 98.3
cd25 98.2
cd26 98.4
cd27 98.6
cd28 98.7 (tested +++)

I felt O cramp for about 3 hours on cd13 and this was also
my only day of EWCM. I didn't check CP and
didn't use OPK. I usually have a 28 day cycle
but last month it was 24 so we BDd early this month. BDd
on cds 8,10,11,13 and that's it. I was kicking myself
for not doing it 1 or 2 more times!

I've been taking prescription prenatals the whole time,
and drinking lots of H2O. No caffeine, no alcohol
whatsoever. Things I thought were negative influences
are that 1. I'm a little underweight, and below my
recommended BMI (one more possible sign of pg
is that I've been eating like crazy to try to gain some
weight, and absolutely no weight gain happened--
was I burning it off b/c I was pg?) 2. DH had surgery for a
large varicocele Jan.'95 but has another as of 2 weeks ago.
DH thinks they can't operate twice--I don't know
why he thinks that (he's an M.D. himself, but not a
RE or OBGYN) 3.DH wears briefs (ie."whitey tighteys")
until about a week ago!

Now that I've written all this I think I must be dreaming.
I want to run home and check the test again. Is it
actually possible?

I am 27, DH is 28. We are both active and healthy.
I REALLY hope the lab test confirms the HPT. I feel
TRULY BLESSED, and more than a little apprehensive!
++++++++ thoughts to you ALL. This board has
been so helpful and everyone has such great attitudes.
Keep it up!

I'm Pregnant!?

Well, its been a year of trying...
3 months of charting... and a lot of
anxiety that something was wrong.
We were getting prepared to
go and see the doctor to have everything
checked over since we have not
been successful at all, and thought
that there HAD to be something wrong.

With charting we expected ovulation
between March 5th and 7th... on the
5th we got a low temperature so we
BDed 4 times that day
expecting that ovulation had
taken place (and it was fun too!).

My usual 27 day cycle made AF due Monday.
I had some mild cramping almost like PMS
on the 18th and some mild lower back
pain. I chalked it up to AF being due
although I never start having
those symptoms before the day AF comes.
Hubby noticed that I was complaining about
feeling sick in the AM and being tired after only
a very short 3-4 hour shift at work.
I noticed I was having to
go pee more and more frequently,
and chalked it up to too much Pepsi.
I expected my temp to drop on the 20th and AF to soon
follow. Since we are Canadian we use Celcius...
my temperature has remained between 36.55 and 36.75,
usually when AF is due it drops to about 36.1 degrees.
I had very sharp pains in my breast on
Tuesday and Wednesday. We decided that
2 days late was not a really significant amount
to be late so we thought we would wait to
take an HPT until Friday.

Well, as usual, I got impatient and
took the test late last night.
I looked at it after only about 2 mins and
though enough time had gone by,
and it was showing a negative result.
So I tossed it in the garbage and was very disappointed.
I came out and sat down on the sofa and hubby said,
where is the test... I said it was negative and
he said, you didn't let enough time go by. So he went and
took it out of the garbage and sure enough...
a faint but quite noticable line in the positive window!
When I think about it now I realise
why it took a while for the test to register..
I have had to pee so much that I doubt there was time
to build up much concentration of
hCG in my urine.

We're going next week to have a blood test to confirm it..
but my temp has still not dropped off at all and today
I was feeling quite nauseous when I woke up.
It passed once I started moving around...

I'll let you know what the blood test shows,
but it sure looks like this
is it!

DianaNY.........2 1/2 years
Well, here is my story.
I bought a 2 pack of Confirm pregnancy
tests. I switched brands this time.
A bit supersticious I guess.
Tired of my old brand.

I tested Saturday evening and was sure
it was negative. I went back and
looked at the box and it was very
specific about morning urine. It was
the first time I had seen that.
Thought they were all anytime. Decided
to wait for Sunday morning.

Woke up at 7 am Sunday morning and
decided to test since I had to go to
othe bathroom anyway. Well, once again it
appeared to be negative. I tossed it in a drawer
in the bathroom and went back to bed. I woke back
up about 9 am and went back to the bathroom.
I thought I'd look at the stick one more time
"just to make sure" and OMG it was positive!!!

I looked at the box again and it stated
that the results remained readable for 24 hours
so you could show it to people. I ran in and woke
up DH and he was just as shocked as I was.
We both looked back and forth from the stick
to the box about a dozen times!!LOL

The next day I had a blood test and it came
back positive as well. The level was 528!!

The main difference with this cycle was
we used progestrone from O time
on. Last cycle my progestrone was 5 at 7dpo.
This cycle it was 62.5!!

Thanks Momma Kath and all the wonderful ladies
that have helped me over the past few months
since I found this site.
I wish I found it a long time ago!

Thank You Jesus! I'm PG!!!!!
Hello everyone! I found out yesterday morning
that I'm PG. I'm in complete shock. Just wanted
you all to know and thank you for the many prayers
and thoughts that were sent my way. I pray that
everyone of you will get +++++ news soon!

I am taking prenatal vits and was taking baby
aspirin and did Robi for three days. Also kept
my legs up for 20 min after BD.

I have a question. Now that I'm PG, do I still
need to take the baby aspirin or stop taking it?

Any help is appreciated! Here's a dusting to all
of you wonderful ladies! ^+!^+!^+!^+!

Best wishes!
