After almost 4 years ttc - Success!! (more)

Hello Everyone,
I'm not a regular on the board, but I just
need to be able to tell someone about our good news. Next
weekend we'll start telling family and friends,
but it's so hard waiting!! I know how much I enjoyed reading
other people details, so here's mine. We started
ttc as soon as we got married (7/20/96). We assumed it
would happen right away. Finally, after much
heartbreak and disappointment we decided to give up. I
had seen two doctors in this time and found out
that I ovulated, had clear tubes and dh had adequate
motile sperm. However, since dh had several orthepedic
surgeries suring this time, the timing was just not
right. In January 2000 we started talking about adopting
a special needs child since it's free (at least in
Minnesota). In May we went to an orientation and decided
to give one last chance at IUI for the summer.
If it didn't work, we'd proceed with adoption. I had to
start taking progesterone to start my period as I was
having an anov. cycle. AF came on 6/13. I took 100mg.
Clomid cd3-7. CD14 showed a follicle ready to
release and had a shot of Profasi. IUI was scheduled
for the next day. I started taking my temps and when
they stayed up higher than usual I was pretty sure I
was pregnant. My HCG on cd29 was 74 and went up
to 274 3 days later. I'm also taking 200mg of Progesterone
twice/day. My Progesterone went from 15
down to 12. I'm a little nervous about this, bu so far my
temps are staying up. The symptoms I've been
having are: cramps that go away quickly, feeling tired,
going to the bathroom more, dizziness and
swollen breasts. My EDD is 3/19/2001. The first ultrasound
is 8/2. Both of us are so exited and thrilled! I
had honestly given up and was prepared in my heart to love
another person's child who needed a family.
God's timing is truly amazing. One thing I have learned
through this experience is what a MIRACLE life
is. I don't know if people who conceived easily can truly
understand and appreciate just how miraculous
the whole thing is. I hope all of you out there will
eventually be able to share your success stories! I never
thought I would be able to, but miracles happen everyday!!!

TTC 18mos..while taking a break! EDD3-12-01
Sunday, 23 July 2000, at 11:24 a.m.

Well.. my symptoms were not much.

I didnt temp because we were taking a break.
I bought the Fertility Monitor
and it told me that I Oed
around CD24. I took my temp about a week
after oing.. and it was 97.7
for several days.. so I figured this
was a bust. I tested around 2 weeks later
and it was -. I started temping
to prepare for AF and it was
98.3-98.5 for several days.. my bbs hurt
but they always do. On CD 42 I
though I would start so I went with
some girls for a drink, and I had 2 BEERS
and I felt ill.. I woke up and
took my temp and it was 98.6, so I
tested. It was +! I had M.C. last Jan.
and had been trying for everyday
since. I was on Clomid, had
surgeries.. and I decided to get this
monitor to help.. and it worked!
We had been off on timing. Today,
my appetite is terrible, I cant get full..
I have NO sickness.. and not much fatigue..
I am a lazy person so
this is nothing new for me to take naps.
My BBS have little skinny blue veins.. and that is about it!

I hope this helped.. it can happen!

....I've just tested POSITIVE.
I am in utter shock.
AF was due Saturday but never turned up.
I just knew this time felt differant.

I decided to take a break from
the board and, I was just getting
far too obsessed with everything. I
continued to take my EPO and B6
(thought I had a problem with LP)
but didn't temp, check cp or cm - it obviously worked.
As for symptoms the only one I
have is sore bbs on side.
There's been no yellow cm, in fact I've had very
little cm and cp has been up,
down and all over the place.
I just don't know what else to
say other than a big thank you to
everyone I have received support from
since starting this long journey.
Without this site I know I wouldn't be pg now.

Congratulations if you have managed to
get this far down, I know I have gone on a bit.

I wish you all the luck in the world.
Love, Nicki

I can't believe it,
but I am pg the first month of trying
your herbal supplements! I took the

Red Raspberry, Vitex, EPO and FSO.
I also used Robitussin and baby aspirin.
My doctor told me that I may need to see an RE,
but I wanted to try some of these natural approaches first.
I am so glad that I waited and gave these things a try.
I had no side effects at all.
I am now approaching the 6 week mark
and tested + very early with your
TTC Store HPT. I found out about 10 days earlier
than I did with dd.
I was only about 9 dpo.
Thank you very much for the help.

Cindy K.

Thanks Momma Kath!

Here is my success story!

We had been TTCing for 2 1/2 year(since Sept. 97), but
I had a few breaks for other medical reasons. In
November started Clomid and kept upping the dose.
Still was not ovulating. During this time I was
taking temperature, and opk's. Was also check cm, but
never got the hang of checking cp. In May, had doctor
appointment and had three choices, Injectables and
Clomid, an experimental drug, or go to an RE(mind you
they are all 1 1/2 hours or 2 hours away.) I tried
injectables. Took Clomid days 3-7, had shot on day 9
and then had u/s till I was ready for hcg shot. Took
test on Fathers Day, and had great Fathers Day present
for hubby and my dad. One thing my temperature never
went above 87, usually it stayed 83 to 85. But I
didn't ovulate for over a year! So, now my husband,
myself, and our son who is 5 1/2 are expecting the wee
one on February 20, 2001!
