BFP!! My DH and I have been trying for # 2 for 10 month now after being on clomid of 7 month we made a Apt with a RE so I was off the clomid for 1 month that was the month on cd 11 I suspected that I might be PG because I had a spell were I felt like I was going to faint when I was at work I had the same thing when I was pg with my DS so I went home and took a hpt and got a very very faint + took it again on cd 13 and the + was a little darker and cd 13 was also my first RE apt so when I went in I had them confirm it and all my levels were normal so there is hope keep trying good luck to all Wendy Ok I really can't believe I get to write a success story, wow. I had two things I did differently I took clomid days 5-9 and second I took Metformin because I had high insulin levels. I didn't have much EWCM but by eating regular carrots I seemed to get a little for some reason the baby carrots just wasn't doing it. My temps took a nose dive at dpo 13 and I just knew AF was coming so I put up my thermometer because I was going to take a much needed TTC break. I was bloated and moody and that's all. I am still not having any symptoms. I am due December 25 th. What a gift!!! Lanora Trying for 13 months 3rd cycle on Clomid 1st on Metformin I have been living on this site for about 2 months as me and DH ttc#2. This was our third try and just got BFP this afternoon. I went off the pill Nov 03 and noticed right away that I had tons of EWCM that month and in Dec ( but wasn't trying yet). Jan and Feb maybe one day of EWCM and so I began thinking that might be our problem. This month we used Pre~Seed for the 3 days that BD and I think that is what made a difference. That and God's blessing. My symptoms were at about 1 or 2 days dpo a very vivid dream ( which is unlike me to have) on days 3-8 dpo cramping, lower back ache, thought I was getting stomach virus that was going around and only for one day so that could be a symptom(?) 9-11 creamy cm. Still some on again off again cramping so I thought af was on her way. 12-13 dpo yellowish cm but not a whole lot. No food aversions yet. No nausea. No bbs change. (only that they feel alittle heavy or full) I have tested on cd25 using equate hpt and got BFN so I thought it was too early. I picked up an Answer hpt on lunch today and took it at work (nice, I know but I couldn't take the suspense any longer) and 2 lines showed up right away. I just wanted to let everyone know that your stories really count and especially the symptoms. I have lived on that info for 3 months. So keep those coming. I am going to recommend this site to everyone I know ttc. THANKS AGAIN and GOOD LUCK TO THOSE STILL TTC ~~~~~++++~~~~~~~++++~~~~~~~~~~~++++~~~~~~~~~~ Baby dust to all of you Carrie Momma Kath, I have been putting it off to giving you my success story for fear this one won't stick but I am doing excellent. Here goes We were trying for only 9 months before I went to the OB GYN to tell them we were having troubles. I had an HSG done the following month. Everything came up normal. Then she referred me to a RE/ OB GYN that was in her practice. I was seeing him for two months before I got my BFP on Feb. 8th. So all together we were trying for 13 months. My problem was hormonal. I had a high prolactin and he put me on Parodel. I started that in Dec. We got my hormones checked in Jan. and my prolactin came down to normal but for some reason my free testosterone shot up to borderline male hormones. RE / OB GYN was baffled. He said out of the 31 years that he has been in practice he has never had a case like mine. He told me that it would be next to impossible for the month of Jan or Feb. to get pregnant. He put me on Tagament to bring down the testosterone. Well I got my BFP on Feb. 8th. I was only on the Tagament maybe a couple of weeks. I called the RE and policy has it that I couldn't be seen 'til 6 weeks. My first apt was Feb. 27th. I got to hear the heartbeat at 6 weeks 4 days. All my measurements were for a week bigger and he was very pleased. I truly owe all this to God through prayer and I also think taking these herbs from this sight really helped me along. I started to take the herbs back at the end of Oct. I was on the herbs for a total of 3 months. Here is what I was taking I wasn't sure if I was ovulating every month or not. Sometimes I would get a positive for OPK and then others it took longer than what it should have so I wrote it off and that wasn't my month. I was taking 500mg of Vitex once a day, 500mg Red Raspberry twice a day, 100mg Vitamin B-6 twice a day, and 500mg once a day. So I hope this all gives you hope. All those herbs I was taking throughout my cycle. This child is truly a miracle baby. Yours truly, Typo-neg My DH and I have been TTCing for 5 mos. And it finally happened. We are very excited. I waited until now to post only because I wanted to make sure everything was ok. When January finally arrived, I had an awakening moment. I said to myself "That's it, this month I will get pregnant if it kills me". Even when I talked to my sister about this awakening and almost every day from the day of OV, she later told me that she prayed and prayed that I would get PG this month because she said I was absolutely obsessed and that she was worried I wouldn't be able to handle it if I wasn't PG. I had my AF on the 10th of January. Between that point and the day of OV, I read everything in site on tips of how to get PG. I used the an ovulation kit and on the 25th of January it told me I would OV with in the next 24-36 hours. My DH and I BD'd for the next 3 mornings. Each morning I made sure I kept my hips up on a pillow for 20 min. following. Well I am excited to announce I found out on the 6th of February (9DPO) that I was PG. That morning when my DH woke me up at 5:30 to go to the gym, I stayed behind because I was almost certain I was PG and knew I could take a HPT that day. When he left I quickly went into the bathroom and took the test. I put it on the bathroom counter and walked away. In a few min I went back into the bathroom and there it was..... the test line and a very faint, beautiful, pink line. I wanted to scream, jump and shout. But what I actually did was cry, and fall to the floor. I was ecstatic. When my DH came home from the gym, he was telling me how his work out was and I just had this huge smile on my face. Finally he stopped and asked me what the heck was going on. I told him "We're going to have a baby!" He laughed and hugged me and said "Well, you better go get checked out". I am now 8 weeks PG and onto my 9th week. I would like to give some advice. If you absolutely do not have to go to the doctor when you find out before your AF is even due (but you had a ++++ HPT). Don't! Because the doctor called me up the next day saying he was worried because my HPT level was only 20. Little did I know at the time that it was because I was so early in the PG. When I went a week later, it was 3200. I was, needless to say, very relieved. The nurse told me that next time it's best to wait 7 days after your period is due. Symptoms: I started getting cramping 2DPO (which I wouldn't have thought was a symptom if it wasn't for the success stories on this site). The cramping is still with me, but now is not constant. It is only off and on all day. On 5DPO, I noticed mood swings like the kind you get when you're pmsing. On 9DPO my breasts started to be tender. They started out being tender like before your period and now are sore enough to stop me from holding my nieces and nephews. They have also increased at least one cup size already. I also have the spider veins on them as well. Not totally prominent, but I am sure they will be. I also started having weird dreams around 9DPO. They are still very weird. I could be having a boy because I have dreamt about a boy a few times now. Another symptom I remember having around this time was bowel distention and gas. Around 12DPO I started noticing constipation which is a big uncomfortable symptom. I gradually started feeling more tired and now the exhaustion is absolutely o verwhelming (very hard to go to work every day), but I don't mind one bit because it's a welcomining reminder that I have a wonderful miracle happening inside me. Oh and remember the sister I constantly talked to about trying to get pg. Well she wasn't trying but found out 3 days after me that she is pg as well (big surprise for her). She recently found out that her due date is the day after mine. Mine is October 17th and hers is the 18th. We always talked about being pg together when we were kids (she and I have always been best friends) and ironically, here we are due only 1 day apart. Thanks Momma Kath for all of your support. And to all you TTCers.... I wish you all the best of luck and sending positive thoughts your way. Love, Jackie ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ First of all Kathy, I want to say thank you so much for having such a website. It help me figure out a lot of things that I didn't know about TTC. For the ladies who have been TTC for a while, don't give up. I'm 34, DH is 35. We have been together for almost 18 years (married almost 11). We have been TTC for 5 years. At first it was no big deal if it didn't happened but it finally got frustrating. I was put on clomid 3 cycles ago and VOILA!! I am 4 1/2 weeks PREGNANT... I did a few different things this cycle. I was on Vitex, Red Raspberry leaf, and licorice. I also started taking baby aspirin. And I emailed Momma Kath everytime I had some big questions. Thank you so very much for being there. (especially this week :) Love, Roxanne xx This is my fifth month ttc #4. I has been very emotional getting bfn's...until today. I am 13 dpo today and got my bfp this morning. It is light, but clear with FRE, FMU. I got a bfn at 9 dpo. I was SURE I wasn't pregnant this cycle as I had a lot of implantation spotting. My initial implantation was at 7 dpo when I had bad cramping for almost an hour followed by red spotting. I also spotted at 9, 10 and 11 dpo. It was usually brown, sometimes bright red. It wasn't a lot, not enough to get onto undies. I had EWCM on cd #14-19 and bd'd almost everyday. I bd'd at night so everything would "stay in" and not come out. I started getting tender breasts and nipples at 11 dpo and they are getting worse each day. Since implantation, I have been a bit constipated, thirsty, few more pimples and more frequent urination. I had AF cramping yesterday, but no usual af headache. I am very slightly nauseated today. There is hope for implantation spotters!! Stacey Im pregnant!!! Posted By: leeanna Monday, 26 April 2004, at 04:32 PM After 2 years and charting my monthly cycle like a hawk I finally gave up last march.. Exactly when we conceived!! 2 positive hpt and 2 positive dr pt, I am about 3 weeks gestational. I have been coming to this site since december and it was the only site that told me about charting my cm. I read so many informational things about ttc and to think i already had 2 children and still didn't know these things. Thank you for all your support, positive thoughts to all of you!
Hi Momma Kath!
Subject: Can't Believe I'm Pregnant Hi I have PCOS and have been on clomid and metformin. I just turned 35 a couple of days ago. My husband is 30. We've been TTC on and off for about 3-4 years. However, we never made a concerted effort until last year.
Last year (2003) we tried for 2 months on 50 mg clomid and 500mg of
metformin. No ovulation. Suffered a family tragedy and abandoned trying
due to stress.
In terms of symptoms or side effects, I "felt" pregnant on my first 2 cycles this year (which I wasn't) - in that I had terrible PMS (I've never had it before), bad cramping (rarely had that before), but each month, I found out, on time (yes my cycles got very regular to 32 days when I increased my metformin dose last October) that I wasn't pregnant. Third cycle I didn't feel anything (PMS, etc.) but I certainly didn't think I was pregnant. These first 3 cycles were done under medical supervision at a fertility clinic with bloodwork to determine LH surge, Estradiol levels (E2) and ultrosound to determine size of follicle. Each month I had very good numbers. First month my E2 was 2400 and my LH was 51, they diminished slightly in each subsequent cycle. For the fourth cycle - I said "enough clinical garbage" and used an OPK at home. I was more relaxed and I didn't feel emotionally hopeful as I had in other cycles. I just enjoyed myself. Fourth cycle was a lot like the third cycle. I didn't test until 17 dpo because I had felt like I was jinxing it every other month by testing too early. The only thing that made me feel pregnant was a very slight tightness in my lower abdomen, tender breasts (but I get that randomly anyhow) Also, I didn't bloat (like PMS), and I was absolutely exhausted on 16 dpo - I had 2 naps and I'm not a napper. When I took the test, the strip turned dark blue immediately - even before the baseline strip had absorbed the urine. I took a blood HCG today and am awaiting the levels. Now of course I'm concerned about miscarriage.
I thought you might like to know that I conceived my 2nd child two years ago using your Lunar Cycle prediction. Got pregnant immediately and this was after 2 years of trying with no success, I had even given up on Clomid. I couldnt believe it when I found out I was pregnant especially since my doctor had done usual his monthly scan and couldnt see any eggies! Anyway here I am to try again. Regards, C.S.T. |
